Hello and Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 year of experience in providing direct clinical services, but I have worked in and around health and human services for almost 20 years. I have experience with a variety of populations including children, adolescents and adults . I have worked in a range of psychiatric settings including crisis and outpatient providing routine psychotherapy. I have provided individual psychotherapy as well as group. I love what I do and over the last few years took on work as a graduate school supervisor to interns pursuing their advanced degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Masters of Social Work, which I find very rewarding. My approach with clients is informed by a variety of therapeutic frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Solution Focused. I take a warm and authentic approach with my clients, and stress above all the therapeutic relationship being of utmost importance in helping my clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
