More about Alejandra

  • 3 years' experience

  • BACP

My name is Alejandra Lopez.

For years I’ve pursued and dedicated my career as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with extensive experience in EMDR, hypnotherapy, as well as alcohol and substance dependence.

I specialise in many different areas, including individual, couple and family relationships to repair trust, improve communication, and strengthen emotional intimacy with each other.

Combining various therapeutic approaches, I make sure everyone’s unique needs are tailored to help uncover deeper insights and patterns that may be holding them back. I provide a comfortable, empathetic, and supportive environment, making sure clients are not alone in whatever it is they are going through.

A compassionate collaboration between client and therapist brings about a safe space for exploration and understanding.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, trauma, addiction, life transitions, or a desire for self-discovery, our work together will prioritise what truly matters to you.

I believe meaningful changes are possible for everyone and I’m here to walk beside you toward healing. It’s my honour to share my services warmly and caringly to allow you to feel empowered on your growth journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
