Life situations and transitions can be challenging at times. My goal as a therapist is to offer a confidential and healthy environment for us to explore your concerns together. I strive to provide quality and compassionate care, meeting you where you are at, and helping you experience insight, growth, and healing. My approach to therapy is very relational. I want to know who you are and what you want from life. My hope is to guide you on the path that leads towards the full life you deserve.
I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, oppositional behaviors, grief and loss, body image concerns as well as relationship issues. I have specialized training and experience with eating disorders and follow the most current evidenced based methods for symptom management. I have completed an intensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma. I also integrate Christian beliefs with client who request this approach.
Once we begin the journey together, we can decide the direction towards healing.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I would highly recommend Lisa to any associates. In fact, I already have, as well as BetterHelp as a whole. Lisa has a unique ability to identify areas to focus on and she's been spot-on through our experience together. She communicates in an empathic manner and really makes one think. She's been a pleasure to work with.
I'm so glad better help is an option- going to on site therapy just isnt an option as a stay at home mom to 5!
Lisa has given lots of helpful advice. She is good at making connections between the different pieces of my life (past and present) and patterns of behavior. I appreciate her ability to connect Christian faith with counseling since I am also a person of faith.
