More about Caleb

  • 9 years' experience

I am Caleb Lytle and I have been a counselor since 2015. Louisiana is where I have been practicing the art of counseling. I enjoy going to church, spending time with my wife and children, and hanging out with family and friends. During football season, the New Orleans Saints are who we root for. My experience include being a Clinical Assessor and Team Leader at Merakey in Shreveport, Louisiana the last four years. The Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse had me as their Program Director of the Adolescent Unit for over two years. I spent another year at the same company helping with addiction on outpatient counseling. Other experience includes treating sexual offenders, helping children at summer camps, working for drug court in Shreveport, and was Clinical Manager at Peaceful Alternatives Counseling.

Education includes a four year bachelor degree in psychology at Louisiana State University of Shreveport and a masters degree in counseling psychology at the same school. Two years of internship were required for the state of Louisiana after completing masters degree.

My treatment approach is spiritual, calm, friendly, and supportive. I think I can help people progress through problems. Change can be difficult, but it does not have to be!

I look forward to helping you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
