Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge your courage to be here with the intention to begin your therapeutic journey, and hopefully I get the privilege to walk beside you with a helping hand.

My name is Rez, a licensed Psychotherapist/Counsellor with over 6 years of experience in supporting individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as (but not limited to); Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I strongly believe that with the right treatment, for the right person, at the right time is important and effective for one's success. I work with the intention of being attuned to my clients' needs. In other words, my approach is integrative, which combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to tailor the needs of an individual. This enables therapy to be responsive to diverse individual needs, interests, personality styles and treatment preferences. My practice is also grounded in a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that all interactions are sensitive to the experiences and needs of those I serve.

If you like the sounds of that, then this may be the right person, time and treatment. I look forward to connect with you and work at your pace.

Warm regards,

Rez

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling.
