Laura has helped tremendously and while therapy and healing isn’t always a linear process she has always been there to listen to me, support me and offer me great advice when needed. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t go to anyone’s else!

People generally look for a therapist because they feel stuck or unable to move forward from unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns.  You could struggle to connect with others and maintain healthy relationships, feel like you can’t keep up with the people around you, as though everyone is doing better than you are.  Anxiety, depression or unresolved trauma may be making life feel overwhelming or may just simply feel stuck. I work with an array of emotional distress and keep up to date on training so I can provide you with the best support possible.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist and traumatologist I draw on a range of theoretical concepts such as Person Centred, psychodynamic, relational, developmental theory and am trauma and attachment focussed. this means I can adapt the way I work to best suit your needs and therapy goals. Alongside my private practice I have worked with an agency that specialises in domestic and sexual abuse and trauma. I also work with young people with special needs and emotional difficulties for the Priory Group and I regularly undertake extra training in order to continually improve my clinical skills. I also specialise in trauma and evidence based trauma therapies. am credentialed in the UK with 6 years of professional work experience.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
