I am a qualified pluralistic counsellor, accredited with NCPS. My approach centres on creating a supportive environment, fostering empathy, and prioritising active listening. Together, we can collaboratively work towards instigating meaningful changes in your life.

My expertise encompasses addressing various client needs, including issues related to anxiety, stress, and the sense of being overwhelmed. I also work with clients who are struggling with their confidence and self esteem, which can make decision making and involving yourself in everyday events a challenge. I also work with individuals who are navigating life changes, whether they involve shifts in employment, personal transitions, or relocation of your life. Change can be challenging and at times isolating.

I work with young adults who face academics challenges and pressures alongside academic staff who feel overwhelmed with their current role and their work/life balance. I have worked in wellbeing in a school environmnent for several years helping young people and staff navigate stress. Prior to working in education I worked for several years in a corporate environment and am fully aware of the pace of change and challenge that can bring.

As part of therapeutic sessions, I can also offer techniques for deep relaxation and mindfulness, catering to your individual preferences and needs.

I believe that counselling is built upon a foundation of trust, openness, and your sense of security in expressing and exploring your needs. Developing this therapeutic relationship takes time, and I am committed to providing the space and time necessary for it to evolve.

Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
