Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Lisa Cooper and I communicate at least one time a week. She makes sure that she addresses each of my concerns mentioned in my response. She is always respectful of my feelings and guides me to investigate possible solutions that might help, rather than "telling" me what strategy I should use for personal growth. Lisa is very compassionate, experienced and insightful. She is always spot on with her confirmation of my feelings and my grief. Losing a loved one who died by suicide makes the grief process more complicated. I am so glad to have a counselor who "gets it". There is an old me and a new me, and Lisa is helping me learn how to figure out how I can navigate relationships and my grief so that I grow stronger and more mindful of my feelings.

I have met with Lisa only a couple of times but I can tell you that just in those two sessions my anxiety has gone down 100 fold... Lisa gets it.. Lisa has empathy... Lisa expertly responds with very pointed resources and guidance that is helpful and does not add to the trauma but lowers the traumatic effects I am experiencing in my current everyday life. I feel extremely grateful to have found her

Lisa is so wonderful. Truly the first time I’ve felt that a therapist has “gotten me” so many breakthroughs in the short time that I was with her before I had to change because of a move. Can not recommend highly enough.

I look forward to my session with Lisa every week. I only wish they could be longer! Lisa has an impressive awareness as a counselor. She often helps me put my thoughts and emotions into words when I am struggling. She validates and supports me without making me feel like a child. Lisa does a great job of pushing deeper with certain subjects, but not crossing a line of making me feel too overwhelmed. I really enjoy working with Lisa and hope we will get to continue our working relationship for as long as possible.

Lisa has been wonderful! She has really helped me through a tough time in my life, and she has managed to uncover areas of my life that need work that I didn't even realize I was struggling with. She responds quickly and always leaves me feeling at peace. My relationship with God and my family are stronger than ever and so much of that is because of this wonderful woman!

There's so much to say with little time! Lisa has made this step so much more smooth than I expected. I was skeptical about communication over the web but this truly fits my comfort level and works around my family and every day life. She's available most of the day and easy to talk to. She has really kept me focused on my goals and very compassionate. I don't feel judged and I trust her guidance and experience. It's nice to have someone that doesn't just flip through a file and reaches out if it's been a bit since last communication. She knows my story and doesn't forget!

Although I have a profession that involves me helping others, I found it difficult to help myself. I appreciate the positive reinforcement Lisa offered, as well as her ability to reflect and ask further questions about what I share to really understand the situation. Lisa was able to illuminate where my issues were originating from and she helped me work through them. It was helpful and relieving to be able to talk with a professional, especially in a comfortable setting. Thanks, Lisa!

In the month I have been talking to Lisa, she has helped me tremendously. I have been avoiding counseling for a long time due to the cost, and this is just as helpful if not more helpful to me than face to face counseling for a fraction of the price. I can take the time to type out how I feel and she takes the time to respond with friendly words and advice. I would definitely reccomend this service, and Lisa to anyone I know needing to talk to someone. Thank you!
