I wanted someone to give it to me straight, and that is what Steven Brenner does. Not too straight - he is helpful with advice and lets me know where I can avoid pitfalls. Most importantly, he helps me see that I have value and the expectations I should - and should not - put on people to give me what I need. I look forward to our sessions. He has helped me immensely.

Steven is a calm & compassionate and can relate to many struggles both personally & professionally. I have always had a hard time relating to other therapists with my business vs personal challenges and Steven is there for me with past experiences and real ways to work out (what appears to be) complex problems.

ABOUT ME

My name is Steve Brenner, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, a Nationally Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have over a decade of experience in the field of mental health and currently operate a private counseling practice in Boca Raton Florida. I primarily work with adults who are struggling with relational trauma leading to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, career difficulties, relationship, and marriage problems. I am trained in the Post Induction Trauma Model of relational trauma work developed by Pia Mellody at The Meadows in Arizona.

My approach is to develop a strong trusting relationship that leads to honesty and the willingness to look at the core issues that are leading to the behaviors (symptoms) that my clients are experiencing today. My approach is low key, yet challenging in a compassionate and loving way. Together, we will develop strategies that produce long term success and measurable results, leading to a life transformed.

I completed my master's degree in counseling at Lynnt University, and have worked in specialized private mental health treatment programs for nearly 10 years. I also have a bachelor's degree in psychology earned in 1983 at George Washington University. I spent 20 plus years working in technology consulting with some of the larger consulting firms over the years. This allows me to relate well with successful business people at varied levels, helping to foster greater performance and leading to greater professional achievement.

If you are searching for direction, contentment, or need help getting past the obstacles that keep you stuck in your personal or professional life, I would welcome the opportunity to assist you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
