As a therapist myself it's hard to open up and talk to other therapists. Like many others I struggle with anxiety, ADD and OCD. Suzanne offers an environment of zero judgement and has so many great tools. Looking forward to meeting again soon.

More about Suzanne

  • 5 years' experience

  • LMFT

Hi! My name is Suzanne Grace and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, a married mom of four children, two dogs, a cat, and a few chickens. I have lived in California most of my life and I work part-time with service members, and the remainder of my day I am working in private practice or via betterhelp.

I love what I do and I see working with clients as an opportunity for mutual growth - we learn from one another in every aspect of our lives, which is a true blessing.

I have experience with a vast range of issues and therapeutic modalities, but have listed the most common - but that does not mean I have not worked with clients with issues not listed or do not have a desire to. My true desire in this helping profession is to aid people in living their fullest and best lives.

I have 5 years of professional work experience as a therapist and I have experience in helping clients who are dealing with stress, anxiety, fertility-related issues, loss/grief, couple's and relationship issues, family conflicts, women's and men's issues, and trauma and abuse.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that your many strengths and resiliencies will assist you in overcoming life's challenges. While I determine the therapeutic modality based on your presenting issues, I also coach, work with couples considering divorce, am a collaborative divorce therapist, and a divorce mediator.

Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am looking forward to getting started!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Great therapist!

Reviewed April 2024

Suzanne has a very fresh approach to coaching and therapy in general. I say coaching because she makes me feel like more of an equal rather than someone who needs help. I like that and I feel she goes out of her way to listen and bring fresh ideas to the secession and she feels like a very well-informed friend rather than a therapist.
