Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Mr. Scott offers no-nonsense but kind advice. His questions get to the root of issues, and his solutions have significantly improved how I coped with my grief. Scott is my first therapist and I think he’s great. He give me the tough truths that a lot of people won’t and I appreciate the heck out of that

Scott is knowledgeable and kind. He listens to you without cutting you off like some do and he actually responds with comments not just your typical “so how did that make you feel” that a lot of them say. Scott is awesome and I am so glad that I found BetterHelp and that they matched me to him.

Professional and good at what he does.... he is real about life and struggles and that is why he helps me.

Great listener! Helps me really put understanding to the why and how I have been feeling the way I have. No judgement and let's me know that I'm not the only person to have the difficulties. Would highly recommend him and will continue to use his services myself.
