I am a qualified Person Centred counsellor with 13 years professional work experience. I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and as such adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and also the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I specialise in bereavement, traumatic loss and PTSD, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, and clients who have been diagnosed with a personality disorder and Bipolar. I have also helped many clients who have experienced childhood and adult trauma, physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with compassion, respect and sensitivity.

My approach is mainly Person-Centred, along with solution focussed and humanistic therapies. The underpinning principles of the Person-Centred Approach are focused on the counsellor being honest, non-judgmental and fully accepting whilst being fully integrated in the relationship allowing the client to lead and set the pace. I aim to offer these conditions as best as I can during our working relationship.

It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
