Wonderful therapist with an obvious wealth of experience and care. I feel safe chatting with her and have never met a therapist so focused and direct with her approach towards getting to the root of what you feel needs discussing.

Hi,
My name is Debbie. I am credentialed in Australia with over 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
I predominately work from a solution focused narrative approach in sessions, as over the years, working with hundreds of clients, I have found this to be a very successful therapeutic approach for helping clients create the changes that they are seeking from our time together.
However, if you would like to dive deeper, I am trained in Internal Family Systems which I have found can create deep inner change and healing. I am also a certified trauma therapist.
Whether you are working towards personal growth and insight, deep inner healing or symptom relief and improved function, I will aim to create an open and safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
