More about Ashley

I have had the honour of working with clients in a range of backgrounds since 2016 in Australia where I maintain accreditation with the ACA and AASW. I have worked with both adult and young people in Out of Home Care, Youth Justice, Foster Care, Child Protection, working with families who have experienced family violence (post respondent and affected family member), families that have experiences sexual assault, children and adults with significant trauma both single incident and complex, participants with PTSD and those looking for self exploration and growth through clinical supervision and reflection.

My favourite way to work with families is through collaboration, understanding the participants needs and their experience before working collaboratively to identify and create a plan that matches their goals.

I see participants online through Better Help while maintaining an in person private practice space in a regional area to support the local community.

I have an open invitation to wonder what is it that you as a a prticipant are looking for, what helps create a feeling of safety and what is it that you need to feel seen, heard and cared for?

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
