Dr. New-Edson balances professional relatability with her abundance of knowledge and experience. She is clear with me on her scope of work while meeting my needs/ preferences. I find she gives me space to verbally process without leading me to a specific thought/ place. Dr. New-Edson offers me different perspectives and challenging questions that allow me to consider new ideas. We were able to quickly establish trust, allowing me to dig deep into areas I am not comfortable discussing with most people. She has been an incredible support and resource with notably strong ethics. I am grateful to have found her through betterhelp .

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I knew from my first session that Rebecca was going to be a great person to navigate the things I felt were important to address. She listens to understand, shares relevant information, challenges my thinking, and actively provides homework. This is the longest I’ve attended therapy and most confident I’ve been with progress yet!
