I am licensed in North Carolina with over 5 years of professional counseling experience. I have experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, & veteran and relationship issues.
I work primarily from a person-centered and existential orientation while also drawing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I also use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in my work with trauma and the Gottman method for couples.
My goal is to highlight a person’s strengths and achievements to aid in developing healthy coping mechanisms for stress management, dealing with hardships, and trauma. To accomplish this a person must challenge and examine their own thoughts and feelings about themselves and their world. A new perspective can aid in discovering tools to overcome obstacles and empower them to make healthier decisions in life.
Counseling is a challenging process and takes time, but can lead to a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to our journey together.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
