Caitlin is extremely helpful, kind, and supportive. She is engaging throughout the week via messaging with well thought out messages pertaining to my journal entries and during our sessions each week she asks thought-provoking questions regarding what I’m discussing with her and she’s great at making sure I feel understood while we are working through things. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!

With a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling, as well as a full license (LMHC) to work in NYS, I am a counselor with a true passion for helping others. Personal experiences throughout life give me a unique and deep understanding, beyond my education, of the way mental health can influence and affect our population in a negative way. This also is directly related to my extreme levels of empathy and compassion when counseling individuals. I attribute much of my success as a counselor to my ability to relate, empathize, and understand my clients in addition to using therapeutic based skills learned throughout my 7 years of experience. I have been exposed to varying disorders including co-occuring disorders, diverse cultures, ethnicities, religions, ages, genders, and sexual orientations. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & depression. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
