Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have only had one session but I can say, I feel confident in her ability to help me get better. On our first session she provided me with some easy tools to implement when I feel anxious and these tools have helped. I feel respected, heard and understood. I'm very happy with her and co sider myself lucky for having her support!

After years of silence I finally reached desperation and sought treatment for a secret that I had been keeping since childhood. I did not know what to expect, having never been in therapy. I stumbled through my words, but Dr. Holland listened, no judgement. With her guidance I now feel like I have hope that the childhood trauma that I experienced will lesson its mental grip. Not to be forgotten, because I have learned that is not entirely possible, but to not have control. It was not my fault.
