Zoe Long Holloway is a Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University. While at Auburn, Zoe became passionate about psychology and, having seen the impact social media can have on mental health in her time as a research assistant, began focusing on how she can be a part of the solution for people living with mental health concerns. Zoe has experience working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stage of life problems, addiction, and various other challenges and conditions! Her approach to these concerns involve an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused practices to meet her clients where they are and work towards their goals.

Zoe works with her clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. She works consistently to stay on top of new trends and research within the counseling field to ensure she is providing the best services to her clients. In her free time, she enjoys being creative (art, music, etc), spending time outdoors, watching new tv series and movies, as well as playing a video game or two! Overall, Zoe is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live the life they wish to!

Better Help, and specifically my therapist, Zoe, have been an incredible resource during a time of struggle. I was really nervous to start therapy, but Better Help has made it convenient and I am so grateful for that; particularly during this season of life.

As someone who's had poor experiences with other mental healthcare professionals, Zoe is a shining example of what I really think a "good therapist" is! She's always given me space to lead sessions if I feel I need to focus or vent on specific topics. Whenever I'm having a bad mental health week, she takes control of the session very gently and redirects focus on little wins, realistic goals, and constructive perspectives. She's very easy to speak to about heavy topics, positive outlooks, and casual things like what video games we like! Would absolutely reccommend for anyone that's also been looking for that "good therapist"!

It’s hard to find someone that’s in your corner and has YOUR best interest in mind. Friends and Family are great to confide in, but sometimes in certain situations it’s good to have someone that will not judge you and you can vent to weekly. Zoe has been that person for me, and I’m so very grateful to have her as a therapist to help me work through difficult situations.
