Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Claire is absolutely wonderful. I am so immensely grateful to have such a wonderful therapist that is thoroughly involved in my well-being and recovery. I can heavily rely on her for support and advice, I’ve learned many new techniques that have been incredibly helpful in response to my symptoms, and she is incredibly understanding of my history and how I ended up here. I understand not everybody has had a great experience on this app, but I am so grateful to say that I have had nothing but amazing experiences and life changing advice that has helped guide me toward a much better path then the one I was heading down. Thankyou so much for everything you’ve done to help me so far, Claire, words cannot express how grateful I am for the work we’ve done so far and the patience you’ve had with me.

Claire has been an absolute port in the storm over the last few months. She's maintained a kind, compassionate and sensible overview of everything that's happening in my life, to help me make sense of it when I couldn't do that for myself. I started with her when I first went off sick from work with stress, anxiety and depression. Initially I only had the short term goal of just not feeling terrible any more. Claire has really helped me make positive longer term changes to the way I view myself and others and how I interact with work colleagues, friends, and my environment. I've returned to work and completed my phased return and I'm so much better at proactively and diplomatically managing issues, as well as recognising my stress triggers and how to process and work through them to prevent my mental health from deteriorating again. Therapy has been transformative for me and I'm exceptionally grateful to Claire for providing me with empathy and understanding, and for giving me the tools to navigate life more smoothly

I’ve had three sessions with her now, She is easy to talk to, I feel heard, and understood. I just started to realize one of the things I need to improve, and I do believe this sessions are helping me.

Claire is such a great match and honestly has helped me so much! She gives great advice, but most importantly she knows exactly which questions to ask.

Reviewed March 2024

I am very early into my therapy journey and have been working with Claire for about a month. I wasn't truthfully sure what to expect from therapy but knew I needed a significant change in my life and my mindset, as I can't go on pretending everything is ok. Claire has been an empathetic, sensible and approachable source of guidance - I often feel like I'm not very good at working things out for myself and I want to be told or advised; Claire never misinterprets anything I say, and seems to intuitively know how to coach me into figuring things out. I am hopeful that her expertise is going to help me improve my life and my mental health
