Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Kelsey is so kind and always has my back giving me supportive words and sound advice I never wanted to try therapy but I’m so glad I did.

Kelsey is an amazing therapist. I've been meeting with her for 5 months now and have noticed a significant change in my mind set. She creates a safe environment where I can share my most inner deep thoughts, feelings and emotions without judgment from her as well as her providing me tools and homework that help me work through (in my opinion) negative beliefs, patterns, coping mechanisms, etc. We use different techniques for different situations and she is always willing to go the extra mile to research things, find me different resources such as books, podcasts and YouTube videos to help me. I've had a lot of different therapists in my life but I feel like Kelsey is able to see the root of my thought processes and ask the questions for me to dive deep and do the work with her assistance as needed. She always checks in and responds even for "small" things. She is truly a blessing. I look forward to continuing my healing journey with her.

I always look forward to my sessions with her, and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a non-judgmental and comfortable experience.

Reviewed May 2024

Kelsey makes me feel heard, safe, accepted, and cared for. She is very relatable, gentle, kind, and attentive. I have had a lot of therapists in the past and have always felt they were authoritative, making genuine connection hard. With Kelsey, I feel the level of professionalism that comes with a good therapist but also the comfort of talking honestly with her as if she is a good friend. I would recommend her for any young lady looking to grow in many aspects!

Tragic news hit my family. When I got word, I literally shattered from the strong foundation I had built before with my behavioral therapist. Through my EAP, I was connected with BetterHelp who matched me with Kelsey Goss. I really like Kelsey’s approach and understanding. She will respond literally as soon as she can and there’s not back and forth phone tag. Being just a text or message away from contact saves time and is a cool feature offered by better help.
