I can tell Tom is a such a loving and genuine person. He has helped me understand myself, so that I can help myself. I’ve gotten exactly what I’ve expected out of therapy, which was insight into my life so that I may live with freedom and awareness. I no longer feel the need for approval, or let my negative thoughts get the best of me. I fulfill myself and I am a much more loving person because of it

Two other books I have written are: Winning at a Losing Game and The Lost Aspect of Love. I encourage my clients to follow up each session with specific homework that I can provide.I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I'm still in the beginning stages but Tom seems to know how to speak to me and help me understand and rationalize in a positive but challenging way.

Tom has been very helpful in getting me through a lot of work burnout and grief that I've been dealing with. It is largely due to his counselling that I've found the courage to make decisions that have benefited myself and my entire family.

Reviewed January 2024

Tom is really lovely. He's allowed me to have perspective on my past that I didn't necessarily have before and it's allowing me to be more pro-active in my own life as opposed to allowing things to happen to me. I have appreciated his experience with substance abuse counseling especially as I've grown up as the child of an alcoholic and didn't really know how that had affected me until now.

Reviewed January 2024

As I am new to therapy, I don’t have a lot of perspective to compare to. I am someone who somewhat knows what I am struggling with, it has been helpful. My therapist Tom has a lot of tools to provide and is a sounding board for my thoughts as I process what I am feeling. For someone who needs an objective opinion to express their issues with, so far, BetterHelp has made a positive difference in my life thus far. I would recommend it for someone who needs someone to listen to them outside of their immediate loved ones. This has made a significant impact on my marriage and parenting ability.
