Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I absolutely adore Cara! She is always there to give perfect advice and is so great with my crazy schedule. She is so easy to make a video appointment with and I love that she is as keen as texting most of our conversations as I am. She is very understanding and is a great listener. She never shoves anything at me or makes me feel self-conscious or obligated. Every time I talk to her, I feel like I'm talking to a friend I've had forever. I couldn't recommend her more!

Through our first few sessions, she has proven to be very open minded, relatable and easy to talk to. It can sometimes be hard finding a new therapist, but Cara has made the process very easy. I look forward to continuing to work with her and learn from her.

Cara helped me feel heard and supported. We used DBT and, with her support, I began to make small changes in my life. She was both empathic and empowering; she listened and understood my concerns and gave me the tools I needed to make the changes in my life that would lead to a happier and healthier life. She responded to me every day and encouraged me to keep doing the work on myself- Cara gave me the hope I needed in a time of despair. In addition, she supported me in the transition and helped me find resources I can use after we finished counseling together.

Cara is an excellent therapist, She helps me with personal and professional problems, as well as with my family and social life. She is excellent for depression, anxiety, relationship and LGBT issues. I really like her style of counseling, I have been with her for over a year. She is just as good as my face to face therapist, I highly recommend her to anybody who needs an intelligent and caring therapist who is always there for you. She works very hard for me and is very good at what she does.

I had my doubts about this site. I'm not a very trusting person. Once I exchanged a couple of messages with Cara, I knew this was a great idea. I love that she is available anytime and I can tell her things as they happen. She really has managed to guide me into a path where I can "better help" myself. ( I know, corny but had to!) She's brilliant.
