Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Nigel is superb. He really, really listens a carefully, taking a notes that clearly show his attention to detail, his clinical expertise and his bespoke attention to each individual client. Perhaps most importantly (for me), he is challenging. He knew I needed to pressed on long-embedded, superficially comfortable habits and ritualised ways of thinking. It’s early days, but I am very happy.

Reviewed November 2023

Nigel has been fantastic throughout this entire process. He responds with long and thorough messages whenever I text him about a problem I have. He also checks in throughout the day and in the mornings without me having to text him first. Overall, Nigel has helped me a lot about understanding myself while always being responsive and respectful. I would highly recommend him.
