Erin has been compassionate, caring, and actively listened during some of my hardest times. Any improvement I've made since the start of therapy is credited largely to her and my support system, which she encouraged me to embrace when I wasn’t before.

I am licensed in Oregon with 10 years of professional work experience. I am a licensed Therapist in Oregon and Utah with a background in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I am a contracted provider with Pacific Source OHP. I have experience in helping clients with Complex Trauma, stress and anxiety, LGBTQIA+ related issues, relationship issues, and various forms of abuse and abuse recovery. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am happy to be here to support you in that process.

My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time right now, but I'm really glad you are reaching out. I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

erin is absolutely wonderful. i’ve really appreciated my time spent with her so far in our almost a year’s worth of working together. her support and genuine consideration towards me (her client) has been immensely noticed and appreciated, which goes to show her dedication and compassion towards her work. erin has truly helped me feel more comfortable with showing kindness towards myself, just as much as i show it to others. thank you erin

A wonderful therapist and cool person. I feel safe and heard by Erin and would recommend her to everyone. She keeps things casual and intimate and it feels like I’m speaking with an old friend who just happens to be a mental health professional.

Reviewed June 2024

Attentive, kind, focused. Comes from a perspective of mindfulness, self-awareness, and light physical recommendations (good ways to stretch, exercise, meditate for where you’re at). Soothing voice, cadence, attitude. Offers lots of helpful resources and worksheets — all optional and supplementary. I feel better equipped to handle myself having therapy with her!
