More about Elizabeth

Hello, my name is Elizabeth/Lizzie (She/They). I am a BACP registered integrative therapist, working online and over the phone across the UK.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Counselling at the University of East London, a degree accredited by the BACP.

My approach is client-led and non-directive. Anything that you choose to bring is what will be explored, at a pace that is both appropriate and effective for your needs.

I began my clinical work at Islington Mind whereby I provided integrative counselling which included working with complex psychological/emotional/mental health problems such as those with borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia and autism.

I also volunteered for two years at The Listening Place, a charity that offers face-to-face support for those who feel life is no longer worth living.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
