Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

From the first appointment we had Nakhwan truly heard me - she completely understood my goals and how I want to receive therapy and I've made such incredible progress already. I was already in a bad way when we met and even after hearing devastating news shortly after our second session, she's helped me so much and has treated me with the utmost empathy and compassion whilst dispensing expert advice tailored to my situation.

Nakhwan has been a fantastic help for me to off load and understand some of my issues. She is patient, supportive, and completely non judgemental. All of these things come through during our sessions and I've felt able to open up more than I ever have before. While the whole experience has been very difficult, I'm glad I've started this journey with the positive experience Nakhwan has given me. I think without her kind, supportive and professional demeanour, I wouldn't have made it this far.

Gives great exercises and as long as the work is done internally it can only go up but she’s is an amazing support ❤️
