Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Overall rating:
Karen was very attentive, and personable. I would love to continue to work with her in the future.
She listens to everything I have to say and makes me feel comfortable talking to her and I don’t feel like a bother
Karen has been helpful in identifying the problems while having conversation and the ability to be kind in order to defuse tension that may arise. Overall sweet person to talk to.
I am grateful to have been assigned to Karen for therapy. She is the only therapist I have had that has been able to get me to take action in my life. I believe it is because she remembers our previous conversations when we talk so it is motivating and she has provided useful tips and assignments that I appreciate and will continue to use.
I’m loving therapy and my therapist
Karen is amazing. I always feel heard and understood during our sessions. I can’t recommend her enough
I’ve only had one meeting with her but I connected with her so much and I can’t wait to continue my therapy with her personally!
I literally feel like I’m talking to my homegirl during our sessions. Thanks so much Karen! You’re amazing.
Very saddened to part from ms. Karen because of a cross country move. I never imagined the level of help and insight she could bring in my life at a very tough time.
Karen has been extremely helpful in recognizing my needs and offering helpful and professional support and suggestions.
Karen is a wonderful therapist who really takes the time to listen to my experiences and gives helpful feedback. Her tools are useful and she is very productive with her time. She is knowledgeable, patient and shows great compassion and empathy.
Karen entered my life during the absolute worst period I've ever gone through. I was in a very, very dark place when I found betterhelp and Karen, and she has offered a lot of support. I feel like she listens and really tries to understand. During our first session, she helped give me a name for what I was experiencing and that was immensely powerful for me. I highly recommend Karen to anyone struggling, especially with any parenting or family related issues.
