Karen reaches out when she hasn't heard from me for a while. She gives me confidence to believe in myself when I feel like no one else does. She provides a safe space for me to say things out loud that I don't feel like I could say to those who know me.

Karen always points out how much progress I made since I started therapy with her. I find it especially refreshing that you can feel the basic trust she has for her patients. There is no fear of her patients, she just has the confidence that with her competence she will help her patients (eventually). Kindness & Boundaries seems to be her motto for therapy and it is what makes her so special!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Getting assigned to Doctor Karen was one of the biggest blessings that have happened in my life regarding my mental health journey. From our very first session, she has been teaching me invaluable lessons which have helped me tackle mental hardships, taught me how to communicate my thoughts and feelings better, as well as improve myself as a person, and become a better daughter, sister, friend... She cares about her patients, is always on time, and is an avid note-taker. She is truly dedicated to helping others. And to me, personally, she has been a huge inspiration. I can only thank my lucky stars that the algorithm connected us. I am, and forever will be, grateful to her and everything she has done for me so far, and I have no intentions of stopping my sessions with her.

I suffered a stroke and was feeling a lot of fear and anxiety. It was the most difficult time of my life but my sessions with Karen really helped me get through it. I can confidently say that I'm in a better place now than where I was when we started just a few weeks ago. Thank you so much!
