Aaron is a brilliant bloke. Only 4 sessions with him so far and I have learnt a lot about myself. If you are looking for a man of God, don't look any further, he knows his scripture and can support you in religious/spiritual ways also.

About Me
My name is Aaron Thorpe, and I am a MBACP, MA qualified counsellor with over 20 years of experience in education, teaching, and leadership. The foundation of my career—and my therapeutic work—has always been this belief: every individual life matters.
I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel genuinely valued, heard, and seen, without judgment. Together, we will build a relationship rooted in trust and understanding, helping you feel connected to yourself and others.
My Approach
I believe that as human beings, we are deeply relational. We thrive when we experience connection but struggle when relational disruptions create faulty internal narratives—stories that leave us feeling unworthy, undervalued, or disconnected from our true selves. These narratives often manifest as self-doubt, low self-esteem, anxious thoughts, or loneliness, holding us back from living authentically.
My goal is to help you understand and transform these narratives. Through relational therapy, key tools, and evidence-based approaches, I’ll support you in reconnecting with your authentic self. Together, we’ll build the confidence to set healthier boundaries, trust your feelings, and make decisions aligned with your values.
What to Expect
Therapy with me is about more than addressing symptoms—it’s about creating a radical shift in how you see yourself and your life. While the journey may not always be easy, the rewards are transformative. You’ll uncover a deeper sense of self-worth, strengthen your relationships, and design a life that feels more whole, balanced, and fulfilling.
Next Steps
If you’re ready to explore this journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Please feel free to email me to discuss availability or ask any questions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Brilliant therapist- perfect for me .
An absolute blessing of a man. God uses him in such an amazing way
Aaron is a very professional therapist who helped me tremendously with a family issue I have been having for a significant amount of time. It would be an understatement to say that the experience was transformative. Thank you Aaron, I appreciate all you do!
Aaron is such a likeable, down to earth, easy going and understanding person. He always makes me feel comfortable, making our virtual space together a safe place, a place where I’m not judged, where I can be open and honest, and where we can work together in a constructive way, step by step.
Aaron is a greatly intuitive professional therapist that is also a very clear communicator and skilled listener. With this he is able to identify and ‘cut to the chase’ in complex situations; with an undeniable focus on you, and your mental health journey. His knowledge of books and supplementary material also adds guidance to the self help aspect of mental health, and his recommendations have been only a positive to navigating issues / big topic questions in my free time. I really enjoyed all my sessions with Aaron, from psychodynamic approaches, to philosophical ones, his expertise was a strong guide and catalyst for recovery and knowledge gaining - which is ultimately what you want from therapy. Strongly recommend!
Aaron was incredibly compassionate and understanding. He was personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Aaron to anyone who needs someone to listen and wants to be active in their recovery or coping
I have worked with Aaron for a few weeks and he has helped a lot, he understood me straight away and has been supportive. Thank you Aaron.
Aaron is a phenomenal therapist. He has a real skill for insight and understanding - not just the issues at play, but the deeper and underlying factors as well.
Aaron is smart, understanding and one of the best therapists I have had the pleasure of engaging with. He uses helpful metaphors which helps to untangle complex ways of feeling into something simpler. We focus on emotional goals and I love that as Aaron has found a great way to work with my strengths and personality. I really love our sessions and cannot recommend him enough. Thank you!
