Thanks so much for filling me in on what you are currently struggling with. You certainly do have some tough choices ahead of you, so I can see why you are feeling a bit lost. Hopefully, through our work together, you will be able to decide what choice makes the most sense for you. I appreciate you telling me a bit about what has worked well in previous counseling, and will keep this in mind as we get started.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know a bit about my general availability and frequency of responding. I encourage you to write as often and as much as you like - this room is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. I typically respond to all messages within 24 hours. The only exception is the weekend, when I usually take one day off. If there is a message you would like me to respond to sooner, please mark it as urgent, and I will get back to you as quickly as I can. It is also possible to schedule a live video, phone, or chat session - if you click on the schedule tab on the left-hand side of the page, you can see what times I have available. These sessions will last 30 - 45 minutes.

Another great feature of this site is the option for me to assign you a variety of worksheets to help the therapeutic process. I like to start with a 1st session that helps me get to know you, to make sure that we have a shared understanding of what you would like help with. I look forward to your response!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

The first impression I have of Debbie is that she is a down-to-earth and experienced therapist. I look forward to chatting with her and feel that she is a great listener. She has provided me with some great after-session worksheets that help me work on my issues. It is easy to recommend her, especially if you need someone that will guide you in a Christian way!

Debbie is a Godsend, I have been in therapy a lot and I have had some not so good experiences .. so going into this was kind of scary .. but Debbie pinpointed my biggest issue in the first session and I’m amazed that I’ve only seen her 3 times and I’ve been healed from over 10 years of emotional pain ! She can relate to you, she uses Biblical wisdom and knowledge and she encourages you well without making you feel judged at all. She’s an awesome listener and gives very practical advice . I don’t know how much longer I could’ve gone without her helping guide me . I highly recommend giving her a try

Debbie offers real life experience with her successful marriage and has a great non judgmental way of talking to a person. She’s godly and just a good down to earth person that I feel comfortable sharing with and listening to her advise. By far my favorite therapist I’ve talked to.

Debbie is great at active listening and providing feedback usually in the form of advice or by her relating to me... which I appreciate. She feels like a friend that really cares about me, and I am grateful for her wisdom and life experience. I can trust that she has the discernment to give me faith-filled advice.

I really love that I was matched up with Debbie. She has had sound advice from the day I began speaking with her about my needs. We even have had similar life stories - so she has had to deal with many issues I have had to deal with and it makes it more comforting knowing that she went through all of it... and I can too. And then she's able to give me healing advice through her perso al experience which had been helping me a lot! Thank you to Debbie.
