I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in the state of Colorado. I have a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD and a master's degree in Addictions Counseling from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. I have 7 years of professional work experience which come from providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling for teens and adults with varying presenting concerns such as stress and anxiety, coping with substance use concerns and other process addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation issues, self-esteem and confidence, and grief. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

My experience has varied across varying therapeutic settings, as I have provided individual, family, and group counseling in community mental health agencies, private practice settings, acute psychiatric settings, and intensive outpatient treatment settings.

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and warmth.

My therapy style and approach draws from Person-Centered Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength-Based interventions.
