More about Dean

I will never tell you what to do. I will ask you, "Where do you want to be?" I am licensed in Connecticut with 32 years of professional work experience. My primary focus is though an existential lens. Figuring out what it is that we see as our purpose, and whether or not what we are doing lines up with that, is a huge step in understanding the possible dissonance we are experiencing. Pair this understanding with the tools we need to navigate, informed by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I am hopeful that together, we will be able to make change.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, lgbtq+ related issues, & trauma and abuse. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
