Laura is a great Therapist. I have been talking to her for almost 6 months now. I look forward to our appointments because she is so kind and she really helps me to look at things from a different perspective. The last 6 months have been the most difficult 6 months of my life, and Laura has been there to talk to and message through it all. I'm very grateful for that. I'm so grateful for everything she has done to get me through this difficult time in my life

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I am going through one of the scariest moments in my life right now. I am losing my family. My wife is divorcing me and I'm going to lose the ability to see my boys everyday, and my dogs. I had a moment of panic on a Friday night, I reached out to Laura and she replied right away. After telling her the details, and her realizing how distraught that I have been she has been, she has been touching base each day, to ask how I am doing. I think that is so nice because she's not just there for the once a week session, she's been there for me each and every day, that I've been going through the hardest time of my life. In my time of need, it has been so nice to have somebody that I can vent to. It has been so nice that she's reaching out to me asking how I'm doing, so that I don't feel that I'm bothering her. This has been the best decision to seek therapy and I could not be more happy with being matched with Laura.

I was surprised to be matched with such an amazing therapist. I have shared with friends about my experience with BetterHelp and about Laura and they want her! I tell them, “maybe you’ll also get someone that aligns well with you” lol get your own, right?! So, I feel like I truly lucked out. Laura is professional, resourceful and personable. She is the reason I have stayed with Better Help. Thank you Laura!
