I'm really good at helping people who are stuck on problems either get past them or come to terms with them. :)
I am non-binary (they/them) and work with all sorts of people including clients from the LGBTQ+ community; clients with autism and ADHD; and with clients who are questioning whether they belong in those groups. :) Allies always welcome. :)
I do: listen to you and help identify your feelings. Suggest mental models to help you understand yourself better. You can, and should, tell me when I get it wrong!:)
I don't: give advice or diagnose you. Ask you questions to satisfy my curiosity or "force" you to do things.
If you have had previous bad experiences of therapy I hope to be worthy of your trust.
Life is hard and seeking help to understand yourself takes courage. Click through and start your journey with me. :)

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Peter was not my first therapist on the app. There are those who claim to know about queer issues, and then there's Peter. In the midst of my personal crisis Peter supported me, listened carefully to my story before making snap judgments, and helped me find a way out of my panic. Peter exceeded my expectations of what a therapist can be in times of need. I feel as though I have gained a friend with incredible compassion. I highly recommend Peter, I hope that doesn't fill up their schedule so much that there's no time for me when I need them, but this one is special!
After 40 minutes of non stop talking from me, on our first session, Peter summarised it perfectly. Peter clearly has a gift for deciphering what is ultimately being said. He has shown himself to be a very genuine person, allowing humour into the session when it warrents it, empathy throughout. Thanks Peter
