Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She is so kind, flexible and understanding.
Excellent--knowledgeable, professional but still easy to discuss issues with, caring, kind, welcoming, puts me at ease immediately. Offers suggestions based upon where you are in your struggles. Gives alternatives, understanding that one technique doesn't work for all. Gives me the definite impression that she is completely dedicated to guiding me to making my life less disrupted/uncomfortable/uneasy by addressing my issues in a positive way and to look forward to a happier, healthier life. Danielle Zevala is the BEST! I'm so happy to have been placed with and accepted by her.
Danielle is wonderful!
this is my first experience with a therapist, and I am so very impressed by Danielle Zavala. She is professional, yet very relatable. She really listens and seems to already know me pretty well--offering options that might encourage me to try techniques that I have not considered, but giving me the opportunity to refuse, while she follows up with something more do-able for me at the time. She is absolutely perfect for me.
Amazing! Compassionate! Understanding! Patient! Intelligent! Helpful!
Helpful and very attentive
Danielle has been a saving grace for me. She is thoughtful and kind, and comes to our sessions prepared with questions and different directions for our conversations to go. I found myself lost in therapy with previous therapists outside of BetterHelp, and talking about things that felt unhelpful or unnecessary. Now I’m actually talking about the things I want and need to be talking about for the first time, and Danielle is anchoring me through it.
