Nicola is the best therapist I have ever had. She is very easy to talk and open up to. She makes me feel so validated and heard. Has helped me set goals and supported me to meet them. Checks in regularly and offers advice and guidance relevant specifically to me as she has taken great care and time in getting to know me. Since beginning my betterhelp journey I have blossomed. The support has been life changing and I feel very lucky to have such an amazing therapist. I feel there is nothing I cannot do now :)

More about Nicola

I have been working with Betterhelp now since May 2023 i am licensed in the UK and also have 3 years of professional work experience before starting with Betterhelp.

I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, trauma and abuse, intimacy related issues, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I offer you a non judgemental and supportive environment and will hold space for you in our sessions. We can work together towards a clearer understanding and acceptance of past life events that can not be changed, but go forward with some clarity and acceptance that will enable you to take back your power and become the person you were always meant to be.

Whilst I was training to be a Counsellor I had a wide range of placements. I first started working with adult survivors of sexual abuse, I then worked for an organisation called Pete’s Dragons that offers a range of support to families and loved ones bereaved by suicide.

After lockdown I supported Care workers and I then finished off my placement hours working for an organisation called Alabare that support clients who have been homeless whilst they are in supported accommodation. I have clients that I see through my private practice who come to therapy with a wide range of issues as well.
