More about Farzana

  • 13 years' experience

I am a licensed and experienced UK therapist and have been working as a senior therapist for over ten years. I provide a person centred, non judgemental, empathic and safe space for clients to explore and share their trauma, feelings, thoughts and emotions. If you are looking for a uniques therapist with experience and expertise, I can help. My expertise enables me to work with an extensive range of clients and issues, including relationship issues, divorce, domestic violence, narcissism, depression and anxiety, sexual abuse, self esteem and confidence issues, loss, bereavement, stress, terminal illness diagnosis, addiction, confidence issues, abuse, and trauma. I use a client focused approach which gives clients a chance to see what works for them, allows them to feel empowered and look at what they want to achieve from therapy. I provide empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard, and I work in a culturally sensitive way. In addition to this, I work with neurodiverse clients including those with ADHD, ADD and ASD, and have been doing so for almost a decade, supporting those who struggle with neurodivergency to have a safe space to talk and become empowered and confident. I also offer therapy in Urdu and Punjabi.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
