I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) based in southwest Minnesota. My experience comes from provider direct mental health services to children, teens, and families for over 10 years. I have worked with individuals with varying level so abilities, mental health concerns, and stressors. I have experience working with presenting issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting concerns, anger and aggression, relational difficulties, and family dynamics concerns.
I believe creating a positive therapeutic relationship with the people I work with is done best by provider a relaxed, open, and non-judgmental environment. I make an effort to approach each new relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect of each persons’ unique experience. My goal is to take a collaborative approach with others to ensure that they feel heard, are working towards the goals they have created, and in a way that they feel comfortable.
I have formal training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Illness Management and Recovery. I have also completed an immersive course in Polyvagal Theory and have my 200 Yoga Teacher Training. I use this and many other techniques to approach each problem with a holistic approach backed by current research. I am a strong believer of using body based techniques to calm our body’s natural response to trauma and stress. While I find this to be effective approach, I am open to other approaches as I acknowledge it is not for everybody.
It takes a lot of strength and will power to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Felicia was very good! I enjoyed her and she gave me some real tools to work with.
She is a very good listener and able to help come up with strategies for whatever you’re dealing with.
She gives me time to respond and lets me ramble. Helping me figure out my thoughts even tho it’s a mess. She is great!!
Felicia is absolutely amazing! She listens to all my thoughts and concerns, but best of all provides me with tools and exercises to work through any anxiety or fear that I encounter. She's great!
Felicia Kellen is a wonderful therapist who I would highly recommend. She is a thoughtful, considerate, and intuitive therapist who has so much to offer. We have worked through grief and relationships and more. I am grateful to have had the experience of working with her.
I started therapy with Felicia about 6 months ago when I was at my lowest. She has absolutely saved me. She listens and talks with you, she helps work through problems step by step. My life is so much better than it was when I started. I can't wait to see where I'll be a year from now.
Felicia is such a great professional to work with. She’s very attentive and gives multiple solutions.
Felicia is an angel.. I’ve needed therapy since before Covid and that really messed with me getting it when I needed it. But I am so thankful I found Felicia to help me process and talk about my emotions in a healthy way. She’s amazing.
Felicia has already made such an impact on my life in only 4 weeks. She makes me feel ok. Not weird or wrong. She's helping me in so many avenues and I can't wait to see where I'm at in a year! So so glad I took the plunge and Felicia was the way to go. Her knowledge is incredible and she shares it with you in a way that doesn't feel demeaning or bad. She has experience with trauma and couples as well which is already helping. I honestly can't say enough good things. The price is incredible too.
Felicia is knowledgeable, professional, kind, and offers tangible skills to practice to incorporate into daily life to help overcome mental health challenges. She is supportive and offers alternative suggestions and ideas while encouraging the development of coping skills in order to help me progress toward my goals.
She listens, even when I am just venting or rambling and can somehow bring me back on topic or is able to focus the conversation.
Great listener, and let’s you set the bar for how you want to go about therapy.
