More about Judith

I am qualified counsellor in the UK with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, depression, & coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and with out judgement. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and be proud of yourself for doing that. I am here to support you in your journey to achieve that process.

I understand that talking to myself, a stranger, may feel a little strange but I am here to listen to your story without any judgement or prejudice, and to accompany you on your journey to understand why and how you are feeling as you do. We will work together to talk through feelings, emotions and circumstances you feel are blocking you from being the person you wish to be. This journey may feel like a rollercoaster with dips along the way but please be reassured that this is normal and, as I say, I am here to accompany you on this exploration of you.

A way I use to describe ourselves and the thoughts and feelings we experience throughout our lives, is that we have a 'cupboard' and for whatever reason, we put our thoughts and feelings away in there when we, either don't have the time, inclination or simply want to bury them away. What we will do together is prise open those doors, gently at first, to see if we can ease some of the pressure. We will talk about what those pressures may be and then either put them back to come back to when you are ready, or look to see if there are any solutions or resolutions by talking about them.

I look forward to meeting and start working with you, kind regards, Jude.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
