Matt is an amazing person! He has a way of making you feel like you have someone on your side and that you are supported and safe. He has a very calming demeanor but can be honest and direct when needed. I consider myself very lucky in being paired with Matt!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Matt has been such a great instrument in helping me get on the road to becoming the person I want to be
I have been working with Matthew for nearly a year and it has been greatly beneficial for the day to day struggles and working on the struggles in my marriage. He provides great feedback and questions to get to deeper meanings and find ways to work and move forward.
I’m new to this therapy life. I’m so happy I was matched with Matthew. I felt instantly comfortable to be able to speak freely. 5/5 would recommend!
Hey man! Thanks for everything! My life has changed thanks to your help! I’ve used some of the counsels you have given me and I will continue to use them whenever life knocks me down! Again I give you big thanks!
A very skilled therapist especially when it has come to relationship stress in my life. He listens and seeks to understand before sharing input. Highly recommend him.
I love how relatable and open he is with me. I feel I can open up with him. I look forward towards my sessions with him.
Very considerate and makes you feel like it is a safe environment. Just a very friendly person and makes it easy to trust.
His guidance has been life changing
Matthew is probably the best therapist I’ve ever had. He really listens and WANTS to help you. He has a very kind nature and is so supportive and knowledgeable. He has an innate way of getting you to open up and talk about what’s really bothering you while also keeping the mood light and the conversation flowing. One thing that I love is how he makes you feel like he’s right there with you going through the problems along side you and helping you get to a solution. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone!
Matthew is awesome. I’ve tried multiple therapists in the past and I’ve not always been able to connect with them. Matthew is very easy to talk to, and while I haven’t been with him for too long yet, I feel like that’s a good place to start and I am looking forward to future sessions.
Matthew is a great therapist! He gives awesome advice when I come to him with my life problems. I’ve always felt pretty comfortable telling him my unfiltered thoughts because he’s good at not passing judgment, but rather asking questions to better understand why I have those thoughts. He likes to crack jokes and can be sarcastic at times (which works for me), but overall he’s very respectful of how I’m feeling even when I’m crying like a baby or word vomiting my scattered thoughts and not making any sense! 10/10 in general!
Matt has been extremely helpful in helping me understand myself better. He has helped me with gaining structure in my life and getting to the root of my concerns. Couldn’t recommend him more for anyone needing help. 10/10
I've talked with my therapist Matthew Benavidez twice now. Through talking with him I've discovered a few reasons why I struggle to connect with my daughter, and significant other. I am beginning to understand I am afraid of being vulnerable, and never truly understood the difference between sympathy and empathy. I am incredibly grateful for Better Help, and more importantly such a knowledgeable, and compassionate therapist to help me navigate being the best possible version of myself! After talking with my therapist yesterday, I am starting to rebuild my relationship with my daughter in a empathetic, and compassionate way. My hope is for this to transcend to all aspects of my life.
