More about Simone

My name is Simone, and I am an Integrated Psychotherapist.

I run a small practice in the heart of Cornwall, UK, called The Holistic Path Practice, where healing is about honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. As an integrated psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, Reiki healer, and acupuncturist, I hold a degree in integrated psychotherapy and have extensive training across multiple therapeutic approaches.

Currently, I am working toward becoming a neuropsychologist. I am passionate about creating a safe, adaptable space for each client, allowing for meaningful exploration and growth within a personalised framework.

At the core of my work is the therapeutic relationship, which I believe forms the foundation for genuine healing and transformation. This connection nurtures a safe, non-judgmental space, grounded in empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. Within this environment, you can feel accepted and supported enough to uncover your true, authentic self and build resilience to face challenges, grow, and develop. By building a trusting and compassionate therapeutic bond, we work collaboratively to empower you to cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and confidence on your journey toward well-being.

My practice integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, the Human Givens approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the psychodynamic approach, the Rewind Technique, hypnotherapy, and more.

I specialize in addiction, trauma, relationships, and phobias, and I am deeply committed to supporting clients through challenging times. My approach is holistic, bringing mind, body, and spirit together to help you embrace your true, authentic self, while enhancing your relationship with yourself and others.

Our first meeting will focus on getting to know you and understanding your unique needs. Together, we will complete initial paperwork, including an assessment, the therapeutic contract, and well-being audits, to guide us in tailoring your treatment plan. This plan will serve as our starting point and will be continuously refined as you progress toward your goals. Each session will incorporate psychoeducation as part of your journey.

Whether you are seeking healing, transformation, or a deeper understanding of yourself, I look forward to walking this path with you.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I've had a very bad time recently and my sense of self was damaged i thought beyond repair. To date I've had two sessions with Simone Hills and her kind, gentle nature allowed me to feel comfortable and secure to open up and be honest very quickly and engage my feelings and thoughts directly. I have a long way to go but I'm highly confident that Simone's empathy and expertise will help me reach a better place
