Julie listens!! I can’t emphasise this enough! She sent me worksheets that are specific to what I need rather than random stuff that are generic to therapy.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I've been with Julie a while now and she's always great. Not only in guiding me through therapy but also in being so accommodating in her days and times, I really appreciate her and her work. My therapy session which I dread at the beginning are now one of the highlights of my week.

I got matched with Julie as I wanted someone to help me deconstruct some of the deep rooted adoption issues I was having at the age of 47 and help navigate what patterns and behaviors had come from these issues. I gave myself a goal of only having 10 sessions with Julie - but I extended this as every week I was looking forward to chipping away at the calcified belief systems that I have inherited (and also developed) throughout my childhood and adult life. I feel in the time we have had together, I have seen progress. My experience with Julie's therapeutic skills is that she holds a safe space, is non-judgmental, highly knowledgeable, highly compassionate, and relatable on many levels.

I was apprehensive about doing therapy over the phone and worried I wouldn’t be able to open up. Julie has been really great. She listens and understands and really understands how I feel about certain situations. She also challenges my thoughts and gives another perspective which has really helped. I have really been able to open up and start to process things.
