Why come to counselling?
Sometimes you may be feeling sad, battling with depression or feeling the weight of anxiety. You may be dealing with relationship issues, separation, trauma or you may not know why you feel unhappy, and need help to move forward in a safe space.
You may want a chance to explore and work on yourself, in a non-non-judgemental environment, or you may want to talk about difficult issues with someone you feel comfortable talking to.
My Journey
I have always been passionate about helping others to embark on their journey to their inner peace. Some years ago, I went on my own journey through therapy, which helped me to understand the process of counselling, and the value of being in a safe space with someone who showed me genuiness, acceptance, and empathy. My journey had many different roads, which lead me to becoming a qualified Counsellor.
I have spent many years of my career supporting and working with individuals who have found themselves in challenging circumstances, whether they were dealing with addiction, self harm, relationship issues, or other struggles as a result of experiencing a traumatic or difficult event in their past, or in the present time.
My goal is to offer clients a safe, warm, respectful and sometimes challenging environment, in which they can explore the issues that are important to them.

Background
I have worked professionally for many years with those affected by addictions, low self-esteem and destructive behaviour. I am experienced in working with those who are a victim or survivor of trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
I believe that we can work out problems and anxieties, no matter how ‘stuck’ we feel, just through the simple act of being listened to without judgement. Counselling is a relationship where we work together to acknowledge the issues that you wish to understand and resolve.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
