I have worked with therapists off and on for years and it's often the connection you make with the person. Pamela doesn't tell me what to do to address my issues. She asks me questions and gets me to thinking and helps to guide me but it's never a situation where someone is saying, "Well, if you would just do it this way, you would be better off." She knows how to ask the questions that just make me think things through when I've been stalled out and going nowhere.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I was reluctant to do this online however it has been a good thing. I feel heard and understood Pam checks on me even in-between my sessions. She has went above and beyond as a therapist.

Reviewed November 2023

Pamela Thompson was very welcoming and calming to me: both of which I was needing. She was very responsive to my online messages.

Reviewed November 2023

From the very first time we spoke I knew this was the right person for me. A listener, an encourager, knows how to get me to think about what I need to do by asking questions and getting me to think.

Reviewed November 2023

From the very beginning Pamela was genuinely concerned about my mental health and thoroughly informative about my concerns regarding my mental health and ways to prevent a decrease in some of my more serious episodes as I would like to call them. Pamela takes the time to listen and yet Give positive feedback at the same time,I hands down would not hesitate to recommend the better help platform to those who struggle with day-to-day battles in hopes That I would encounter a therapist such as Pamela
