Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Sarah gives tough love in all the right ways!

Reviewed June 2024

Sarah helped me accomplish all of the concerns that I came with. She listened and offered real life scenarios and examples that helped to connect the pieces. The resources she provided were relevant and personal to me and what she thought I would benefit from. Sarah always responded in a timely manner even if it was a chat or journal entry. I could type a book into the chat section and she would read it word for word to really gain an understanding of what I was feeling and going through to better help me process. I couldn’t recommend her or BetterHelp enough!

Sarah is a GREAT therapist! She takes the time to listen to you. She gives amazing advice. She even gives incline of books to read to help recognize past experiences. Some things hit closer when she shares her personal experiences with you and you have gone through similar situations. She always is there to check in with you. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re getting the right help you need. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone. She is thorough, wholehearted and genuine to her patients. So glad I was matched with her.
