My therapist is very professional and calming. Letting me get to conclusions and guiding me to find my own solutions. Or providing alternative ways of looking at situations and helping me find my own way through.

I am a BACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist (BSc Psychology, London) based near Virginia Water in Surrey and have over twelve years experience working with both teenagers and adults. I offer professional psychological support in a dependable, calm and confidential environment, where you will have an opportunity to explore your feelings and to understand yourself and your life from a different perspective. The aim is reduce confusion and to enable you to make informed choices, manage challenges, or to make positive changes.

My integrative training and approach includes person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. I support clients with a variety of issues, including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, loss, loneliness and low self-esteem.

I offer an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am mindful to hold an awareness of my client’s view of the world.

I spent several years working both in the UK and abroad as a news broadcaster in radio and television. This gave me lots of experience in working with people from all over the world, both in teams and also alone.

My experience has attracted a number of clients from various cultures, who have said they found it helpful that I am understanding of religious and cultural differences and show a respect for others' societal norms.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
