Hello and welcome. My name is Jennifer Camposano-Wallace and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida. I have had a successful private therapy practice for over 20 years now. I have also worked for over 10 years as a Clinical Director and then CEO for a nationally known private behavioral health care facility. I began my career in Boston and moved to Florida in 2001. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Florida State University and my master's degree in clinical psychology from University of Massachusetts.

My approach to treatment is first to help my clients to feel safe, accepted, and understood. Research suggests that one of the most significant predictors of therapy success is the quality of the therapeutic relationship, so I consider this a critical component of my work. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help clients to identify areas in which they'd like to grow and change.

I would love for the opportunity to meet you and I am confident that I will be able to help you with whatever the reason is that you are seeking support for. I am very easy to talk with and will help you feel comfortable and safe in our first session. Taking the first step to seeking a happier life takes much courage and I am here to support you in that process.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
