Welcome, and thank you for your consideration! I am a licensed counselor in Florida. I utilize various approaches, such as Solution Focused Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with Attachment Theory to help patients understand their tendencies and their core beliefs that started in their early years. My clients are encouraged to build a healthier connection with themselves in order to be able to find their true identity and build healthier relationships. I have had experience with mental health counseling in both outpatient settings and inpatient therapy at a Level I trauma hospital, a private practice, and a mental health clinic. It is a joy for me to watch my clients overcome personal struggles and embrace their journey more fully. I want to empower others to experience growth through their pain because growing is ultimately possible in every season of life. I help clients build skills such as resiliency, emotional regulation, and integration of their logic and emotions. My clients are encouraged to increase both their cognitive and emotional awareness. I seek to reflect the dichotomy of showing patience while gently encouraging and challenging my clients to reach their potential. I utilize an empathic approach as I believe that when people feel safe, understood, and accepted, they are better able to verbally process. I want to meet my clients at the place they find themselves in so they can properly confront their needs and make the progress they want to make.
