- LCSW, LICSW
I am licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida as a Clinical Social Worker. I have 31 years of professional work experience. I have specialized training in helping clients with stress and anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, life transitions, trauma, adjustment difficulties, LGBTQIA related issues, relationship challenges, & family dynamics . I provide a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Going to therapy is no different than going to a doctor for a physical problem. As a society, we tend to look at emotional well being as a skill or as a matter of will power without considering the physiological affects of stress. Stress can create profound physical changes including changes in body chemistry which can lead to physiological depression or anxiety. For many people going to therapy can improve quality of life, physical health and remove obstacles to personal growth. In therapy, I like to remind people that emotional well being has a behavioral and physical component and I am here acting as an investigator and a coach. Therapy is a team effort and anyone can use direction once in a while.
Taking the first step to seek therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I look forward to meeting you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
